Dutch competitions


St. A4 Arnhem (NL/E) - Animation competition & symposium Foundation A4 organizes a competition for interdisciplinary design teams. For these teams the assignment will be the design of an existing public space or a public space which has not been created yet, the design and presentation of which involves the use of narrative techniques.

Amphibian Living (NL/E) - Design contest in 3 categories.

Archiprix (NL/E) - The Dutch design-courses select their best student plans annually for the Archiprix. A jury selects the very best plans.

Euregionale Architectuur Prijs (NL/E/FR/DE) - Schools for Architecture from Maastricht, Hasselt, Liège and Aachen present annually their best student projects. An international jury choses the three best plans. The EAP is a cross-border initiative, encourages, stimulates education and offers young talent a platform.

Europan Nederland - All about Europan 5, report about previous competitions, links to other Europan sites, etc.

Prix de Rome (NL/E) - The Prix de Rome is the oldest and most prestigious Dutch award for young artists and architects (aged 35 or younger) in the Netherlands. Since 1985 the prize is being awarded in ten different areas of art and architecture. In a five-year cycle two fields are convered annually. In 2000/2001 these are Architecture and Urban Design & Landscape Architecture.
